St Paul's Whitting Lecture 2022
Our biennial Whitting Lecture in memory of St Paul's former History teacher from 1929 - 1963, Philip Whitting.
This February, the Whitting Lecture will be delivered by Dr William Wootten; a Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Bristol and editor of Reading Walter de la Mare (Faber, 2021). Wooten will be discussing some of Walter de la Mare’s best known poems against the backdrop of his life.
This lecture will be preceded by a soft drinks reception in the Atrium at 6.30pm.
