Managing Mobile Phones and Sleep
This workshop will equip parents with research-based strategies to best help your child. Specifically, we will explore:
- Exactly how much sleep students need and why it isn’t the amount most students/parents think it is
- Why they struggle to get enough sleep – the role that the sleep hormone melatonin plays
- What you can do to help them at bedtime – specifically, avoiding the 9 common sleep mistakes
- Why mobile phones are so addictive – understand the myth of multi-tasking
- Strategies to help them manage their phone better – ranging from important and awkward conversations, to subtle strategies to limit their use
This webinar is suitable for parents of pupils of all ages at JAGS.
This event is delivered via Zoom and attendees will need the provided password to join.

• That in participating, you are aware that the session may be recorded and made available to other parents and teachers in the school community who were unable to attend.
